Angela Wang, Partner at Micro Capital, a prime Chinese Union Pay data partner capital group that strategically invests in early stage Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) projects with a focus on big data. Angela has a strong interest in tech entrepreneurship and passion to help early stage tech companies to grow, and has been actively investing and advising startups. She has invested more than 20 startups spanning across Asia and North America.
Her portfolio includes Mingyizhudao (also known as Didi Doctor, currently the biggest Medical consultation booking platform in China), shangshangqian (current the biggest e- doc sign platform), etc. Previously, Angela was serving as the North America regional director for UnionPay Smart, a China UnionPay company that focuses on Big Data services, including precision marketing, customer profiling and business intelligence.
Angela has finished both her bachelor and master degree in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Toronto with distinction; as well as the executive management program Venture Capital Unlocked from Stanford University.
